Job description
The Basics

Position: Permanent
Basic salary: £23.71 per hour / £48,083 per annum + overtime = earnings of £53,000 and upwards achievable.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 19:00 to 04:00 am and Fridays 14:30 to 19:30
Holidays and Benefits: 25 days + 8 bank holidays. Employee Contribution - 5%, Annual pay rise negotiated each year.

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect fabricated and machined components with handheld measuring tools associated with a precision engineering environment.

Desired Qualifications
  • Competent at reading engineering drawings
  • Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using handheld measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, bore micrometres, height gauges, DTI (Digital Test Indicators) etc.
