Job description

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Dudley

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay Rate: £14-£15 per hour (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Quality Inspector with experience in fasteners (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.) to join our client in Dudley. As a Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing products meet high-quality standards through thorough inspection and testing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect fasteners and components using hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
  • Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Record and report inspection results accurately.
  • Identify non-conforming parts and support root cause investigations.
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain compliance with specifications and standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in quality inspection within the fasteners or precision engineering industry.
  • Strong understanding of measurement techniques and inspection equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
