Job Title: Quality Inspector

Shift: Day shift

Pay: £15 per hour

Location: Leicestershire, LE2

The Company

A well-established manufacturing company who produce high quality machined and fabricated products.

The Quality Inspector Role
  • Quality check parts at each stage of the process including first offs and final inspections.
  • Use quality checking tools including micrometres, verniers, calipers etc.
  • Record and file all test and audit reports.
The Candidate
  • Mechanical Engineering Background, knowledge of steel standards and certifications would be beneficial.
  • Capability to read Engineering Drawings.
  • Basic IT Skills
  • Willing to work in a team environment.
  • Familiar with ISO Standards and processes.
  • Ability to perform part audits, first-off and final inspections of materials and processes, WIP and finished goods
  • Determine product compliance to drawings, processes and technical specifications.
  • Be familiar with established inspection procedures and have the capability to use inspection/testing tools and instruments, knowledge of CMM Equipment would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Romer Absolute Faro Arm would be an advantage
  • Capability to Record & File all test and audit reports
  • Identify and document nonconforming material in accordance with applicable procedures.
