Job summary

A growing precision component manufacturer in the UK is seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector with an engineering background. This role offers the chance to work on bespoke medical products while conducting quality tests and ensuring compliance with manuals and certificates. The position is primarily Monday to Friday on a day shift basis.

Mechanical Quality Inspector

Location: Chelmsford (commutable from Brentwood, Billericay, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas)

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Day Shift Monday - Friday (39 hrs)

The company is a well-established family‑run business, who specialise in the manufacture of precision components for the aerospace sector and medical sector. The company has blue chip clients across the UK and are looking to grow their quality team.

In this role you will be reporting directly to the Quality Manager. You will be conducting tests of the medical products, overlooking manuals / certificates and ensuring the product is fit for purpose.

This role would therefore suit a Quality Controller with an engineering/manufacturing background who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to play a key role at a growing company.
