Job summary

T&K Associates invites applications for a Quality Inspector position based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This temporary-to-permanent role offers day shifts (6am-2pm or 8am-4pm) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and provides training and progression opportunities.

You will inspect control panels, cable harnesses and mechanical assemblies, perform continuity tests with a multimeter, and verify assemblies against drawings and BOMs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous inspection experience is essential.
• Experience inspecting control panels or cable harnesses is advantageous.
• Experience using a multimeter for continuity testing.
• Good attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Able to understand technical drawings and documentation.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect control panels, cable harnesses/looms, and mechanical assemblies against drawings.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure workmanship and quality standards.
• Carry out continuity testing using a multimeter.
• Identify defects, damage, missing items, or workmanship issues.
• Verify assemblies against BOMs, drawings, and work instructions.
• Record inspection results and report quality issues.
• Support production with quality-related queries.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.

T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and fast paced manufacturing environment working on a wide range of technical products.

Quality Inspector Job Details & Benefits;

• Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm
• £12.71 per hour to start, rising to £13.85 following a successful probation period
• 28 days holiday to start including bank holidays increasing with length of service to a maximum of 33 days including bank holidays

Quality Inspector Main Duties;

• Inspection of control panels, cable harnesses/looms, and mechanical assemblies to customer and internal drawings
• Carrying out visual inspections to ensure products meet workmanship and quality standards
• Continuity testing using a multimeter
• Identifying defects, damage, missing items, or workmanship issues
• Verifying assemblies against bills of materials, drawings, and work instructions
• Recording inspection results and reporting quality issues where required
• Supporting production teams with quality related queries
• Maintaining a clean and organised inspection area
• Following company quality procedures and health & safety requirement
