A leading aerospace company in Glasgow is seeking a Quality Inspection Technician to ensure the quality of spacecraft components. You will perform inspections against engineering standards, document results, and work closely with Quality Engineers. The ideal candidate has experience in aerospace manufacturing and knowledge of IPC standards. This position operates on a hybrid work model, requiring in-office presence three days a week.
As a Quality Inspection Technician, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of spacecraft components by inspecting and documenting incoming materials from suppliers and outgoing hardware before shipment. The role is critical in verifying that all parts meet required specifications and standards before entering or leaving our production facilities.
To be successful, you should bring strong attention to detail, integrity, and accuracy in following procedures. The role requires careful inspection work, precise documentation, and the ability to flag non-conformances when identified.
Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.
Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be required for this role. If needed, Spire will arrange the necessary licenses—this is not something candidates need to have before applying.
