Responsibilities

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for the next step in your career or an Inspection Supervisor looking for a move? The role is based predominately at a site in Nottingham but will include travel to a site in Leicester on a weekly basis and so you must be able to drive and have your own transport. You will be line managing 2 Quality Inspectors across both sites. The primary purpose of the role is to inspect parts and assemblies using CMM machines and is responsible for the technical execution and oversight of quality inspection and assurance processes across 2 sites. This includes hands‑on inspection of precision components and assemblies using CMM and other metrology equipment, validation of inspection data, and maintenance of calibration systems to ensure full traceability and compliance with ISO standards. The role involves detailed analysis of quality performance metrics, identification of process variation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to support continuous improvement. The position also provides technical guidance within the Quality Department to ensure consistent inspection methodologies and accurate data reporting across both sites.

Hours of Work

7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays (39 hour week). Overtime for anything above this is paid at time and a half.
