Quality Improvement Coach - Residential Childcare (Remote)

Location: Remote
Salary: Up to £34,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular Learner Experience Reviews (LER) with PTs to assess learner progress.
  • Perform in-depth curriculum reviews and provide feedback based on the Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
  • Improve teaching quality through observation feedback, 1‑1 support, and CPD sessions.
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers to ensure actions from LER and curriculum reviews are implemented.
  • Deliver CPD training for PTs and the wider team, covering topics such as TAQA and AET.
  • Sample learners’ portfolios regularly with PTs to monitor progress.
  • Lead standardisation meetings to ensure consistent tutor delivery.
Requirements
  • Level 3 and/or 5 vocational qualification in your area of specialism (Residential Childcare).
  • Teaching qualification and Assessor/IQA qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of the apprenticeships/further education sector and Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
  • Proven ability to use quality improvement principles to enhance learner experiences.
  • Demonstrable experience in building relationships and developing others.
