Job summary

IRIS Software Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an exceptional Quality Engineering leader to define and drive the quality strategy across the organisation. You will set standards, lead a major transformation, and build a curated end-to-end QE model embedded within product pods.

You’ll build influence across a large engineering estate, lead a small central QE practice, and partner with Engineering VPs to mature capability in automation, performance, resilience and SRE.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality engineering at scale in a multi-product software organisation.
• Track record moving QE from manual to automation-dominant environments.
• Deep knowledge of automated testing across unit, integration, contract, E2E, and AI-assisted testing.
• Experience enabling and guiding QE functions within large distributed estates.
• Exposure to performance, resilience, and chaos engineering at meaningful levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small central QE practice and the global QE community of work across divisions.
• Define and drive the QE destination model and automation standards across the organisation.
• Partner with Engineering VPs to mature capability and career pathways.
• Develop quality signals and integrate observability and telemetry into product feedback.
