Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group near Lincoln is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the metals coatings department. You will work closely with quality and production to drive process improvements in coating operations.

The role will focus on audits, KPI reporting, non-conformance investigations, and supporting a strong quality culture across site teams and suppliers. A mechanical/materials engineering background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality environment within manufacturing.
• Experience in an IS9001 OR AS9100 environment.
• Experience conducting internal audits.
• Previous experience in coatings of materials, materials science, metallurgy.
• Degree educated in a mechanical engineering / materials discipline.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality improvement initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Support non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance through audits, KPI reporting, and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and site teams to maintain high quality standards.
• Provide training and support to promote a strong quality culture.
