  • Previous quality engineering experience.

Quality Engineer

Location: Weymouth

We are a fast‑growing engineering company based in Weymouth, and we are looking for a Quality Engineer who can support and drive our company’s key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring all quality assurance systems and ensuring they are up to date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Supporting and leading investigations into quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Reviewing and deciphering first‑article inspection reports.
  • Acting as a point of contact for all quality matters, both internally and externally.
  • Supporting internal and external auditing plans.
  • Encouraging and implementing standard processes and practices across the group.
Qualifications
  • ISO 9001 / AS 9100 audit trained.
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Knowledge of AS 9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and NADCAP.
  • Previous quality engineering experience.
