Quality Engineer 12 month contract Based in Belfast Offering £31.90ph Inside IR35

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer? Do you have experience working within an Aerospace/Automotive manufacturing environment? Do you want to work with an industry-leading company? As the Quality Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:

• Providing guidance and delegation of tasks to Product Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineering personnel
• Developing and maintaining Quality documentation and procedures
• Collecting and analysing data on non-conforming products to enable corrective action to be taken
• Supporting MRB/CAB activity
• Preparing and maintaining Quality product, First Article Inspection, Inspection, and MRB delegation plans
• Liaising with internal and external customers with regard to Quality Assurance requirements
• Arranging and controlling audit programmes, including carrying out internal and external site audits
• Development and introduction of quality initiatives

Your skillset may include:

• Awareness of APQP and able to support related activities, e.g. 8D problem solving, PFMEA, and Control Plan development
• Data analysis skills - interpret data sets, graphical data, and draw conclusions
• Work well as part of an integrated team alongside operational and cross-functional team members
• Quality or engineering-based background within a major manufacturing industry
