Position

Quality Engineer – £30,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Overview

Yolk Engineering is partnering with a specialist manufacturer to offer an exciting opportunity to join the business as a Quality Engineer. The business is widely recognised for its product innovation and quality. The Quality team provides a supportive and positive environment where you can progress and grow on your knowledge and skills. We’re looking for someone with experience in Quality and an ambition to develop and grow within the role.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test product materials and identify root causes with follow‑up actions.
• Analyse data to support decision‑making on materials and production processes.
• Coordinate internal audit activities within the team and carry out audits when required, implementing follow‑up actions.
• Lead site compliance to ISO 9001 and ensure quality processes are followed.
• Maintain and manage the equipment used in line with company standards.

Qualifications
  • Engineering or technical subject qualification or relevant experience.
  • 2‑3 years experience in a quality assurance or compliance role.
  • Experience using root cause analysis tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA or PFEMA).
  • Experience in Quality Engineering with problem‑solving skills used to industry standard.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience in MRP systems and similar processes.
