Job summary

Eliquo Hydrok Ltd is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure right-first-time delivery of stainless steel welded and fabricated products for the UK municipal water sector. You will provide hands-on quality support across welding, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and supplier quality, investigating non-conformances and driving corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing quality background in heavy industry or welding.
• Experience in quality engineering, inspection and document release.
• Ability to read drawings and ensure conformity.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001.
• HNC/HND or degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
• Prepare inspection/test plans and release docs.
• Provide hands-on quality support for welding, fabrication, assembly.
• Interpret drawings and inspection requirements for conformity.
• Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions.
• Use data and lean tools to reduce defects.
• Support supplier quality through goods-in checks and actions.
• Protect company interests through quality and compliance control.
• Promote safe working practices and health and safety compliance.
