Job summary

TT Electronics plc in Abercynon, South Wales, is recruiting a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing with robust processes, control plans, and root cause analysis of non-conformances. The role focuses on quality improvements across Connector Assembly manufacturing areas and requires strong analytical and communication skills.

The role offers a pathway to contribute to the Quality Management System, with opportunities to share best practices and drive improvements across departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quality Technician or similar in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of 8D/RCA, PFMEA and control plans.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with quality data analysis and reporting.
• Structured, methodical work approach and clear communication.
• Understanding of robust quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing with robust quality controls and PFMEA.
• Monitor performance trends and provide scrap/MRB feedback.
• Attend daily/weekly meetings and support improvement actions.
• Handle customer queries/complaints for Connector Assembly.
• Participate in 8D reviews and coordinate customer feedback.
• Support containment actions and timely closure of actions.
• Conduct product/process/system audits as required.
• Schedule and conduct first article inspections.
