Crem Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our confidential client for a Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Newmarket. This isn't a replacement position; it's a brand new role created as production volumes rise and quality becomes central to success.

You'll join a collaborative Quality team and have the opportunity to make a genuine impact from day one. You'll work across engineering and manufacturing, lead investigations, audits and continuous improvement initiatives,

Qualifications

• Experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems within manufacturing.
• Experience conducting internal audits.
• Strong inspection and testing techniques knowledge.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent documentation and organisational skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Hands-on, practical approach to quality improvement.
• Experience with CAPA, REACH or RoHS is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out internal quality audits.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
• Investigate internal and external non-conformances.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support customer complaint investigations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve quality processes.
• Validate engineering changes and maintain quality documentation.
• Carry out production inspections.
• Support regulatory compliance activities.
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives across the business.
