Job summary

Mint Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to oversee quality management across solar PV, BESS, and substation projects. The role covers QA plans, inspections, and documentation for handover, ensuring compliance from installation to energisation.

The ideal candidate has prior quality assurance experience in energy/infra construction, knowledge of ISO 9001 and ITP/NCR processes, and familiarity with solar PV or substation installations.

Qualifications

• Experience on energy, utilities or infrastructure construction projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ITP and NCR processes.
• Familiarity with solar PV, BESS or substation installation preferred.
• Experience reviewing supplier and contractor documentation.
• Quality certification or engineering qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality management plans and inspection and test plans across construction and installation works.
• Audit and inspect civil, mechanical and electrical works against specification.
• Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions through to closure.
• Compile quality documentation for client handover and compliance records.

Job description

Salary: Competitive day rate depending on experience

Contract length: 12 to 18 month contracts

Mint Selection is speaking with experienced Quality Engineers ahead of upcoming contract requirements on solar PV, BESS and substation projects. The role protects build quality from first installation to handover, and it produces the records that clients and network operators rely on at energisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain quality management plans and inspection and test plans across construction and installation works

• Audit and inspect civil, mechanical and electrical works against specification

• Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions through to closure

• Compile quality documentation for client handover and compliance records

Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous quality engineering or assurance experience on energy, utilities or infrastructure construction

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ITP and NCR processes

• Familiarity with solar PV, BESS or substation installation preferred

• Experience reviewing supplier and contractor documentation

• Relevant engineering qualification or quality certification advantageous
