Quality Engineer - Wrexham

Due to significant site growth driven by long term customer contracts, a rare opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Quality Engineer – forming part of the team that ensures technical compliance and drives continuous improvement activity, with involvement in quality problem solving, preparing quality documentation and internal / supplier auditing as required. This role will involve direct representation of the business to a diverse aerospace customer base, and the day-to-day management of non-conformances through the company QMS utilising a range of software.

Key skills
  • Ideally educated to HNC / HND / Degree level in engineering or science based discipline
  • Experienced in a manufacturing setting as a quality engineer or process engineer
  • Demonstrable experience with quality and data analysis tools such as 8D, FMEA, APQP, Pareto, SPC, CpK, Six Sigma, root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP desirable
  • Some knowledge of SAP ERP highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and statistical skill set
