Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enhance production and quality processes.
• Support QMS, EMS, and wider business management systems.
• Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and product improvements.
• Complete supplier, product, and service audits/inspections.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Lead and support continual improvement activities.
• Deliver quality awareness training to staff.

W Talent are supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing business in their search for a Process & Quality Engineer. This is a key role for someone who thrives on improving processes, driving quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement across production and engineering.

The Role

As a Process & Quality Engineer, you'll develop, implement, and improve processes across production, quality, engineering, and environmental activities. You'll support the Quality & Environmental Management System, deliver engineering solutions, and ensure products and processes meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enhance production and quality processes
• Support QMS, EMS, and wider business management systems
• Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and product improvements
• Complete supplier, product, and service audits/inspections
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation
• Produce PPAP documentation (FMEA, Control Plans, PFDs)
• Lead and support continual improvement activities
• Deliver quality awareness training to staff
• Support contract and customer requirements with engineering documentation
• Use business systems (e.g., Epicor) to manage and control processes

Key Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Automotive Engineering or similar
