Job summary

Graham Engineering, Ltd. is seeking a driven Quality Engineer to join our growing team in the UK. You will lead APQP activities across the product lifecycle, prepare PPAP documentation, and drive root-cause analysis using 8D, FMEA, and SPC.

You should have an Engineering degree and proven experience in a regulated industry, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a methodical approach to delivering high-quality outcomes on nuclear, aerospace, and defence programmes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a similarly regulated industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and other core quality tools.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to quality challenges.
  • Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Job description

We’re looking for a driven Quality Engineer with strong experience in APQP and PPAP to join our growing team. This is a key role within our quality organisation, supporting new product introduction, supplier development, and continuous improvement across our programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support APQP activities throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to production.
  • Prepare, review, and approve PPAP documentation, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and implement robust corrective actions using tools such as 8D, FMEA, and SPC.
