Job summary

Vectis Recruitment is seeking a Quality Engineer for a global manufacturing leader serving Aerospace, Automotive, and Defence sectors. You will drive quality improvement by conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and developing quality systems across engineering and production.

The role focuses on maintaining compliance with customer requirements and driving continuous improvement in quality processes, working with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest product

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry and customer requirements
• Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System, ensuring quality processes and work instructions are effective and compliant
• Work closely with engineering and production to improve product quality to the highest standards
• Monitor changes in customer specifications and ensure process owners implement changes when required

The Role

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with industry and customer requirements.

Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System, ensure quality processes, procedures, and work instructions are effective and compliant.

Work closely with engineering & production to improve product quality to ensure the highest quality standards.

Monitor change in customer specifications ensuring process owners implement change when required.

The Person

Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (aerospace, automotive, defence, etc).

Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions

Excellent understanding of quality assurance management principles and practice.

In-depth knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
