Job description
Key Duties
  • Conducting thorough root cause analysis and development of corrective actions for all non-conforming parts.
  • Supporting customer related quality issues, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution.
  • Analysis of quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, using statistical methods and quality tools.
  • Providing training to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality.
  • Maintaining accurate records of quality issues, corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
  • Measuring and reporting quality performance.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Performing internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Requirements
  • Be proficient at reading & interpreting engineering drawings & specifications.
  • Have a strong understanding of machining & welding processes.
  • Familiar with and have worked with ISO9001/45001.
  • Have an ability to conduct thorough root cause analysis and develop robust corrective actions.
  • Have the expertise to identify problems and implement solutions that improve systems, processes and products in line with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Possess strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Have the capability to manage multiple improvement initiatives and quality projects simultaneously.
  • Be able to train & mentor staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Be familiar with conducting internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Possess strong communication, report-writing and presentation skills.
  • Hold a full driving licence.
Package

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.

Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-4:30PM, Friday 7:30AM-1:30PM.

25 days annual holiday in addition to statutory bank holidays.
