Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain PPAP documentation.
• Conduct MSA and process capability studies.
• Manage NCRs and CAPAs for timely closure.
• Support APQP/AS9145 activities and FAI submissions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve process capability.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100D and quality standards.

Quality Engineer

Overview

We're looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to take ownership of PPAP and quality assurance activities within an aerospace manufacturing environment. You'll ensure products and processes meet AS9100 and customer requirements through effective planning, validation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain PPAP documentation - PFMEA, Control Plans, and PSWs.
• Conduct MSA and process capability studies to validate processes.
• Manage NCRs and CAPAs, driving timely closure and verified root cause.
• Support APQP/AS9145 activities and FAI (AS9102) submissions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve process capability.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with AS9100D and customer quality standards.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing or precision engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and AS9100D.
• Proficient in PFMEA, MSA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Confident with GD&T, engineering drawings, and quality documentation.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving improvement.
