Job summary

Rolls-Royce Derby is seeking a Quality Engineer to help shape the future of quality capability and data analytics within the Civil Aerospace sector. You will work across the value stream, developing and deploying the Quality Capability, Data and Reporting strategy and delivering learning solutions to build capability in quality-related skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the use of Power BI.
  • Experience in using AI to secure insight from data.
  • Prior experience in a Quality role is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and deployment of the Quality Capability, Data and Reporting strategy.
  • Support the development and implementation of learning solutions to improve capability in the skills aligned to Quality. To include developing and delivering learning solutions through platforms such as MyLeatro powered by Sana.
  • Perform data analytics and implement reports through Power BI and AI / MC learning to provide insight that can be acted upon to improve the Quality of delivered product and services.
  • Perform evaluation of the Operating System (process, culture & leadership, governance & risk etc …) to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform problem containment and resolution, to minimise impact and to ensure corrective and preventative actions are completed and verified in a timely manner.
  • Create and deliver a communication plan, to include managing the Quality function communication plan and organising learning and engagement events.
