Job: Quality Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 per annum DOE

A fantastic role has come up with my Bristol-based client, a successful engineering business, they are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their skilled team. The successful candidate for the Quality Engineer role will Monitor, assess and report on quality of product and processes, ensuring manufacturing processes are performed correctly and in line with required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities – Quality Engineer
  • Facilitate 8D problem-solving activities for supplier/internal complaints from initial containment through to fix verification...
  • Support goods inwards containment activities.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement activities.
  • Support supplier audits and conduct internal audits.
The required profile – Quality Engineer
  • Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
  • ASQ certification preferred.
  • A full knowledge of AS9100 rev D
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Qualification in an Engineering discipline to HNC level or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within manufacturing and a Quality Engineering function.
  • Must have produced FAIR’s to AS9102 rev C
  • Full knowledge of APQP and PPAP, statistical process control metrology or inspection methods/equipment and the 8D problem solving methodology.
