Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract in Belfast. This role involves providing guidance to Quality Control personnel, developing Quality documentation, and analyzing data on non-conforming products. Ideal candidates will have experience in Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing and a solid engineering background. Qualifications

• Experience in Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing environments.
• Quality or engineering-based background in major manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret and analyze data sets.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Quality Control and Assurance personnel.
• Develop and maintain Quality documentation.
• Collect and analyze data on non-conforming products.
• Support MRB/CAB activities.
• Prepare Quality product and Inspection delegation plans.
• Liaise with customers regarding Quality Assurance.
• Arranging and controlling audit programmes, including carrying out internal and external site audits
• Development and introduction of quality initiatives
• Awareness of APQP and able to support related activities, e.g. 8D problem solving, PFMEA, and Control Plan development
• Data analysis skills – interpret data sets, graphical data, and draw conclusions
• Work well as part of an integrated team alongside operational and cross‑functional team members
• Quality or engineering‑based background within a major manufacturing industry

Quality Engineer

12 month contract

Based in Belfast

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer? Do you have experience working within an Aerospace/Automotive manufacturing environment? Do you want to work with an industry-leading company? If your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!

As the Quality Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

• Providing guidance and delegation of tasks to Product Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineering personnel
• Developing and maintaining Quality documentation and procedures
• Collecting and analysing data on non‑conforming products to enable corrective action to be taken
• Supporting MRB/CAB activity
• Preparing and maintaining Quality product, First Article Inspection Report, Inspection, and MRB delegation plans
• Liaising with internal and external customers with regard to Quality Assurance requirements
• Arranging and controlling audit programmes, including carrying out internal and external site audits
• Development and introduction of quality initiatives
• Awareness of APQP and able to support related activities, e.g. 8D problem solving, PFMEA, and Control Plan development
• Data analysis skills – interpret data sets, graphical data, and draw conclusions
