A leading cleaning chemicals manufacturer based in the West Midlands is looking to hire an experienced quality coordinator. Keep a close eye on the lines, the raw materials, the in process and the finished products, ensuring quality is maintained first time. Though, if it isn't picking up and handling those customer complaints to keep those precious customers on board and happy.
What you'll do:
- Assist in third part audits and customer visit
- Monitor quality systems and initiate appropriate actions to meet standard to gain accreditation for BRCGS. Be familiar with BRCGS standards.
- Prepare QAs files.
- Provide support to production, mixing and warehouse in any occurring quality issues. Provide communication and support to all department of any investigations into QC non-compliances, consumer complaints and customer surveillance testing.
- Manage external testing of finished product when required, prepare biannual, pre-listing reports.
- Create standard work procedures, improve recent ones, train SOP`s, create quality alerts.
- Assist to the customer support officer to investigate customer complaints from retailer to direct customers.
- Review risk assessments, create new ones. Propose solution how the risk could be reduced.
- Promote continuous Improvement of the quality management system.
- Conduct packaging approval, maintain samples.
- Control the non-conformity database, raise complaints, contact suppliers. Liaise any packaging issues with supplier, investigate the cause. Collect information.
- Perform internal audits based on the schedule.
- Ability to complete Rapid Problem Solving and Root cause analyses
- Complete traceability exercise, from raw material to finished product and vice-versa.
What you'll bring:
- Current / prior experience in quality in an FMCG or chemical manufacturing environment (essential)
- Knowledge of internal and supplier auditing (essential)
- Experience of handling customer complaints
- A keen eye for detail
