This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturing site that prides itself on teamwork, innovation and the highest standards of product quality and safety.

You’ll be part of a supportive technical team that plays a vital role in maintaining compliance and ensuring customers receive consistently high-quality products.

Quality Technician Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
  • Support and maintain the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) in line with BRCGS and HACCP requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits, GMP inspections and assist with third‑party audits or customer visits.
  • Record, investigate and help resolve non‑conformances and customer complaints.
  • Verify that production and hygiene teams are following correct procedures and good manufacturing practice (GMP).
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and ensure traceability is upheld at all times.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in quality systems and site standards.
Skills & Experience Required as a Quality Technician
  • Previous experience in QA/QC within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and food safety standards (qualification desirable).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with production and technical teams.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate digital records.
  • A proactive, hands‑on approach and a genuine passion for quality and compliance.
