Quality Controller (QC) – Fresh Produce | Outskirts of Canterbury | Temp - Perm

Salary: £13.45 per hour starting, rising with experience and progression

Shifts: Multiple patterns available (5 on 2 off | 4 on 4 off | 4 on 3 off | 3 on 4 off) – to be confirmed at interview

Location: Canterbury area (free on-site parking)

Our client is a trusted supplier of fresh produce to major UK retailers. They are looking for a detail-focused Quality Controller (QC) to join their team and ensure that all produce leaving the site meets the highest standards of quality and food safety.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with fresh produce or food production experience who is passionate about quality and consistency.

The Role

As a Quality Controller, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards on site and ensuring products are ready for the UK’s leading retailers.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Inspecting fresh produce for quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Checking packaging, labelling, and product specifications
  • Reporting any issues or non-conformances to management
  • Supporting the Production and Line Leaders to maintain standards
  • Accurately completing QC documentation and records
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues across the site
