Job summary

Office Angels in Esher is seeking a Quality Control Technical Operator to join the Quality & Compliance team. You will carry out inspections, verify materials, record results in the ERP system and help maintain quality standards across the business.

The role offers a salary of £28k, with 25 days holiday, pension, and a range of benefits, plus on-site parking. You will work Monday to Friday, in a hands-on manufacturing environment with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control or Quality Inspection within manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and quality documentation.
• GCSEs in Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out incoming inspection of materials and products in line with quality control procedures.
• Verify materials and components against specifications and purchase orders.
• Record inspection results accurately within the ERP system.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring equipment and gauges.
• Maintain traceability and segregation of inspected materials.
• Identify and report non-conforming products.
• Support quality assurance and compliance activities across the business.

• Work with production, purchasing and engineering teams to support quality standards.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and departmental projects.

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time

Location: Esher with on-site parking

Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation, is looking for a Quality Control Technical Operator to join their Quality & Compliance team.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out incoming inspection of materials and products in line with quality control procedures.
• Verify materials and components received from suppliers against specifications and purchase orders.
• Record inspection results accurately within the ERP system.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using a variety of measuring equipment and gauges.
• Maintain traceability and segregation of inspected materials.
• Identify, quarantine and report non-conforming products.
• Support quality assurance and compliance activities across the business.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.
• Work closely with production, purchasing and engineering teams to support quality standards.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and departmental projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience within Quality Control, Quality Inspection, Manufacturing, Engineering or a technical environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and surface finishes.
• Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and quality documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred.
