Job description

Position Overview

Civil QC Supervisor – Talacre, North Wales, shore‑based site. 12+ months, up to 3 years. Negotiable rate, outside IR35. On‑site 5.5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 4‑5 inspectors and ensure Quality Control Plans are followed for civil activities.
• Oversee preparation of quality dossiers for final handover.
• Check availability and suitability of consumables, equipment and instruments.
• Ensure materials and equipment are properly received, stored, calibrated, identified and traceable.
• Support development of QC Information System rules.
• Review and verify qualifications of inspection personnel and work procedures, including special processes.
• Ensure NCR management process is in place and effective.
• Confirm tests, inspections and controls follow QC and ITP plans, and verify documentation for mechanical completion.

Qualifications

• Proven senior‑level experience as Civils QC Supervisor within Oil & Gas or similar industries.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• ISO 9001:2015 certification.
• Strong quality control inspection skills.
• Proficient in MS365.
• Right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
