Job summary

BioChek - Smart Veterinary Diagnostics is seeking a QC Supervisor for an onsite role in Berkshire. You will lead the Quality Control team, oversee routine testing, and ensure products meet performance standards for timely release.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biochemistry, Immunology, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline.
• Extensive QC laboratory experience, ideally in diagnostics, biotech, or biopharma manufacturing.
• Hands-on ELISA or immunoassay testing expertise.
• Proven ability to supervise or mentor lab teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise QC Analysts, planning daily schedules and development.
• Oversee QC testing of reagents, materials, and finished ELISA kits.
• Ensure data accuracy and SOP/GDP compliance in all workflows.
• Review lab documentation and escalate issues as needed.
• Support investigations into deviations and non-conformances.
• Maintain audit readiness and assist with internal/external audits.
• Support implementation of process improvements and digital tools (e.g., LIMS).
• Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing to maintain continuity.

About the Role

As QC Supervisor, you’ll oversee the day-to-day activities of the Quality Control team, ensuring diagnostic products meet performance standards and are released on time. You’ll provide technical guidance, support the team’s development, and play a key role in upholding quality, safety, and compliance requirements across all QC workflows.
