Responsibilities

  • Ensure technical customer requirements are constantly met.
  • Carry out calibration tasks to meet customer return dates.
  • Ensure first-time right-on calibrations by following technical procedures.
  • Perform calibration and adjustment repairs in the laboratory or on-site.
  • Record results accurately.

Quality Control Operative

Salary: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Location: Kingswood

Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

Our market leading client is seeking a proactive Quality Control Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to eventually work within the Calibration team and learn new skills and to grow and develop.

Responsibilities
  • To ensure technical customer requirements are constantly met.
  • To carry out day to day calibration tasks to meet the customer return dates.
  • To ensure first-time right-on calibrations are met by the department by following technical procedures that are taught during the training stages.
  • Carry out calibration and adjustment repairs of a large range of equipment within our UKAS Accredited laboratory and on customer’s sites when required to do so.
  • Manual calibration as well as the writing and setting up of automated calibrations.
  • All calibrations are performed on a quoted turnaround therefore the ability to work set times and to prioritize workload is important.
  • Carry out any other work as may be required to ensure the smooth running of the business.
  • To accurately record results as required.
