Job summary

Avery Dennison is hiring for a hands-on QC/packing role based on-site in Harrogate. You will work in a small team to maintain top quality throughout finishing, packing and dispatch, handling finishing, packing and stock control while following check procedures and contributing to efficient daily dispatches.

The role requires a proactive, detail-focused individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a busy environment.

Job Description

This is a “hands on” role working as part of a small team within a busy QC/packing department. The purpose of this role is to maintain the highest standards of quality control throughout the finishing, packing, and dispatching process.

Key Responsibilities

• This is an on-site position.
• Consistently maintaining high standards of Quality Control.
• Finishing (cutting/counting) & packing printed products.
• Ensuring check procedures are followed.
• Preparing for daily dispatches ensuring correct shipping information is supplied.
• Stock control.
• Investigate operational incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and proactively develop practical solutions to optimize process efficiency.
