Quality Control Officer

Location: Gillingham

Are you passionate about maintaining high standards and ensuring product excellence? We're looking for a Quality Control Officer to join our clients team and play a key role in upholding our commitment to quality in every aspect of their operations.

In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing both product and service quality, identifying any defects or deviations from standards, and working closely with the QA Manager to implement corrective actions that drive continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:
  • Performing visual inspections to ensure compliance with their quality standards
  • Identifying and reporting quality issues, defects, and non-conformities
  • Assisting the QA Manager in analysing trends and recommending improvements
  • Maintaining accurate inspection logs and reports for traceability and accountability
  • Supporting initiatives to enhance product and service quality across the business
What we're looking for:
  • Experience in a quality control or assurance role - steel manufacturing experience highly regarded
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • A team player who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality results

Then hours of work can be flexible and the client will consider someone looking for part-time hours. This is initially a Temporary role with the opportunity to become permanent.
