Job summary

Morepeople 01780 seeks a hands‑on Quality Manager for a growing food and beverage manufacturing business. You will own the Quality Control function, drive food safety and product quality, and lead continuous improvement across production.

You will manage the QC team on the factory floor, monitor quality data, and coordinate audits with a focus on HACCP and GFSI standards. This role requires strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Quality Manager/QA Manager role within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems.
• Experience with audits and customer visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality Control team across production.
• Maintain a strong quality presence on the factory floor and drive accountability.
• Monitor product quality, specifications and conformity.
• Oversee line monitoring and CCP activities, escalate issues in real time.
• Manage product holds, releases and non-conformances.
• Lead corrective and preventative actions and root cause investigations.
• Analyse quality data and trends to identify recurring issues and improvements.
• Support customer, certification and regulatory audits.
• Coach and develop the Quality team to build capability and engagement.
• Work with Compliance to support HACCP, SOPs and continuous improvement initiatives.
