Job summary

AliveDx, based at the ARC facility near Edinburgh, is recruiting a Quality Control Analyst to perform GMP-compliant QC testing on materials and products. The role splits between biochemical and microbiological QC, with training provided as needed. The position is full-time (37.5 hours) and located on-site at EH26 0BF.

You will document results, monitor equipment, and participate in improvement projects while developing technical skills in a dynamic diagnostic environment.

Qualifications

• GMP environment laboratory experience required.
• GMP knowledge; training provided as needed.
• Regular use of VDU (computer work).
• Proficient with core IT packages, e.g., LIMS.
• Able to manage workload and deliver results.
• Focus on continuous improvement of processes.
• Ability to generate and implement improvement ideas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QC testing of raw materials and final products per GMP.
• Record data in batch manufacturing records with accuracy.
• Rotate between QC Biochemical and QC Microbiological areas.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe to operate.
• Support training of staff to develop capabilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
