Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Quality Manager on a 6 month fixed-term contract in the UK. You will own the Quality Management System, ensure UKAS accreditation alignment, and coordinate audit readiness across ISO/IEC 17020 and 17025 across surveying, air monitoring and laboratory analysis.

You will lead audits, engage with UKAS and HSE inspectors, drive continuous improvement and support business development by reinforcing compliance credibility in client submissions and tenders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy or similar.
• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17020 and 17025.
• BOHS certifications such as P402, P403 and P404; P405 knowledge advantageous.
• Internal Lead Auditor training is desirable; ongoing professional development.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor beneficial but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Establish control and visibility over the Quality Management System and audit readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement in service quality, operational efficiency and technical performance.
• Shape quality strategy and accreditation performance across projects.
• Oversee UKAS audits and liaise with regulators and assessors.
• Support business development by reinforcing compliance credibility in client submissions.
