Job summary

Saica Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the site quality agenda, deploy the quality strategy, and drive top-tier product quality. You will lead a small Quality team, work with Operations and CI to establish clear standards and ensure continuous improvement across the site.

The role requires experience with BRC, ISO 9001, 14001, and health and safety standards, plus strong auditing and documentation skills.

Qualifications

Fully qualified BSI Lead Auditor.
Six Sigma Practitioner.
Competent user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with ERP systems, preferably EFI Radius and SAP.

Responsibilities

Manage the day to day activities of the Quality Team, coordinating activities required to meet Company, site and regulatory quality standards.
Ensure compliance with external and internal standards including BRC, ISO 9001, 14001 and A2 permit.
Lead and improve procedures, documentation & auditing of the quality management system.
Understand customer needs and ensure these are reflected in the quality management system.
Maintain audit readiness and close NCRs with relevant business areas.
Investigate and process customer complaints and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Develop quality metrics and reporting for internal and external use.
Identify training needs and deliver internal training on quality requirements.
Represent Quality Department in Site Leadership Team and contribute to site strategy and budget.
Develop a culture of compliance, quality and continuous improvement.
