Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) role, ideally in a food factory environment.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site-wide audits, including GMP, hygiene, and fabrication checks.
• Lead metal detector and CCP validations and allergen verifications.
• Carry out scheduled and ad hoc traceability exercises for export.
• Investigate customer complaints and identify root causes.
• Manage QA documentation diligently.
• Provide holiday and sickness cover across UK sites.

About the job

As a Compliance Quality Auditor, you’ll be at the heart of our Technical QA team, ensuring we’re always audit‑ready, compliant, and delivering products that meet the highest food safety standards. You’ll be our eyes and ears on the ground – identifying risks, championing quality, and helping us stay ahead of the game.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site-wide audits including GMP, hygiene, fabrication, and glass/plastic checks.
• Lead on metal detector and CCP validations, calibrations, and allergen verifications.
• Carry out both scheduled and ad hoc traceability exercises – you’ll be our go‑to for export traceability.
• Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and drive improvements.
• Diligently check, file, and manage QA documentation daily.
• Provide holiday and sickness cover across both of our UK sites – dual‑site knowledge is key!
