Role Overview

This role involves delivering quality audits and supporting the Head of Quality for National Care Group services, with remote working from home and travel to the North East to carry out onsite inspections.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regulatory‑based inspections, including desk‑based assessments, ensuring services operate in line with statutory requirements and national best practice.
  • Develop and manage individual audit plans, detailing activities, timelines and priorities to schedule and execute inspections using NCG agreed formats.
  • Support the Head of Quality in monitoring overall quality, reporting risks, reviewing action plans and providing data analysis.
  • Analyse information from multiple sources to identify trends and non‑compliance risks affecting quality and safety.
  • Maintain an evidence‑based audit trail, ensuring all judgments are corroborated by evidence.
  • Support service improvement initiatives and demonstrate understanding of complex needs and behaviour that challenge services.
  • Work effectively as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a team to deliver outcomes.
  • Travel nationally as required; however, most work will be performed remotely from home.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 4/5 in Care or a comparable qualification.

  • Ability to interpret data and apply audit and compliance assessment processes.
