Working Hours

Monday to Friday 05:30 to finish (notional finish time 15:00). Guaranteed minimum 35 hrs per week.

About The Role

As a Quality Auditor you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf-life products where hygiene standards are critical.

  • To undertake audits as per scheduled, reporting non conformances and ensuring corrective action is completed.
  • Data entry input and analysis of quality checks. Assist in the production of quality reports and charts that utilise the collected data.
  • Organise microbiological and organoleptic sampling and report findings. Microbiological samples to be taken as per schedule.
  • Raise any non conformance activity with Quality and Production Management.
  • Ensure that any employee operating on a CCP activity is trained to do so and report any non-conformances.
  • Maintenance of filing of record documents, and archiving.
  • Whenever non conformances are highlighted ensure you support the responsible person ensuring that effective corrective action is implemented using one point lessons as training tools.
  • Ensure procedures are implemented to provide a safe and legal product.
  • Where trained to do so, train others to conduct CCP tasks.
  • To be aware of, understand and adhere to the maintenance of good GMP.
  • Conducting traceability exercises.
  • Investigating customer complaints.
  • To support the QA manager during site audits
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
  • A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
  • Basic microbiology understanding.
  • Allergen Awareness training
  • Basic Health and Safety training
  • Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
