Job description

We are looking for a Quality Auditor to join our Kirkby site. This position is a broad role working within an environment where we produce and package a range of butters, spreads, and oils - with responsibilities covering quality control of raw materials, conducting checks and audits across the site, and conducting taste panels. The role will work across the production and laboratory environments. Shift Pattern The position reports into the Quality Supervisor and involves working shifts that incorporate a roster covering nightshift, weekend working and Bank Holidays as per the business requirements.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Conducting tests, taking samples and swabs, and environmental sampling.
  • Maintaining site CCPs.
  • Conducting audits including BRC, GMP, glass & plastic and retailer.
  • Working closely with other departments (including operations/production and engineering).
  • Supporting on NPD activities.
  • Ensuring the QMS is up to date, completing reports and identifying and communicating any trends identified.
  • A strong communicator, able to work with colleagues of all levels.
  • Able to demonstrate experience of conducting internal and external audits.
  • Experienced working within a food production environment, experience with packaging processes is great too!
  • Knowledgeable with current UK regulations and legislation's.
