Job summary

THG Manufacturing, based in Warrington, is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Auditor to join our production teams. Based at THG Omega, you will help ensure GMP compliance, perform audits, and support daily QA activities in a fast‑paced nutrition and wellness facility.

You’ll work across supplier deliveries, labelling checks, sampling, documentation control, and internal audits, reporting to the Quality Leader.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and listening skills, with ability to influence at all levels.
• Proven time management and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HACCP principles and quality assurance practices is desirable.
• Background in QA within food manufacturing or similar industries is preferred.
• Flexible with working hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct GMP and fabrication audits and report adherence to QMS policies.
• Perform daily glass & brittle plastic audits and packaging integrity checks.
• Inspect supplier deliveries and ensure correct labelling and documentation.
• Take samples and perform testing using QA methods and equipment.
• Collect micro samples (raw materials, water, hygiene swabs, finished products).
• Maintain QA records and daily check sheets, ensure traceability.
• Assist in internal audits and issue Certificates of Analysis when required.

What will your day look like:

• GMP & fabrication audits, checking & reporting adherence to Quality Management policies & procedures
• Glass & Brittle Plastic Audits
• Inspect daily supplier deliveries: pallets, documentation, labelling accuracy, packaging integrity
• Take samples and conduct testing (Near Infra-Red Spectrometer, organoleptic checks)
• Collecting Micro samples as per schedule (Raw Material Deliveries, Water, Hygiene Swabs, Finished Products)
• Collection, checking and filing of all daily production & QA check sheets
• Conduct daily label checks to ensure traceability
• Calibration of weighing scales
• Carry out temperature and quality checks
• Updating and maintaining accurate Quality Management documentation records
• Handling internal enquiries and escalating within the team where required
• Centrally file and archive a wide range of documentation including reports, investigations, and other quality documentation
• Form part of the internal auditing team
• Issuing Certificates of Analysis/Conformities, where required

The right person for the role will have:

• Effective communication skills, listening, influencing and persuading skills at all levels
• Time Management
• Experience working within a food manufacturing environment is desired but not essential
• Flexibility with working hours to meet business needs
• Confident PC skills
• HACCP trained (desired but not essential)
• Quality Assurance experience (2+ years, desired but not essential)
