Leonardo UK is seeking a Quality Technician for the Southampton site with hybrid working options. You will support quality foundations across the programme and product lifecycle, contributing to product integrity and quality performance from concept through delivery.

You will lead quality investigations, perform internal audits, and analyse metrics from SAP and dashboards while building knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

• Experience in quality investigations and RCA/CA activities to improve product/process performance.
• Ability to undertake internal product and process audits.
• Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of quality tools including RCA, Process Mapping, FAI.
• Ability to collect, analyse and produce metrics from SAP, spreadsheets and dashboards.

Your impact

Help support the quality foundations within one of the UK's most ambitious aerospace and defence companies.

As a Quality Technician, you will play an important Assurance Engineer within our IR-detector line of business to help influence product integrity, support quality performance across the LOB and help to monitor our robust quality practices are embedded from concept through to delivery.

This role is to be based from our Southampton site with some flexibility regarding days onsite subject to work commitments and production support requirements (Hybrid)

What you’ll bring as a Quality Technician

• Support the development and deployment of quality plans, processes and assurance activities across the programme and product lifecycle.
• Developed experience in quality investigations, root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CA) activities to improve product and process performance.
• Become trained in undertaking internal product and process audits to help drive improvements
• Collecting, analysing and producing metrics from various sources (SAP, spreadsheet, databases and Dashboards).
• Develop a working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management Systems to help role growth.
• Familiarity with Quality tools and techniques, including Root Cause Corrective Action, Process Mapping, First Article Inspection (FAI) would be advantages.
