Overview

This Brigg Scientific client are a well-established food manufacturer and they are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician for their Liverpool site. A busy production facility, they are looking for recently qualified scientific candidates looking for a role in QA, or those with existing experience of food manufacturing and associated quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Production line checks
• Sampling
• Laboratory liaison
• Batch number corroboration
• In coming raw materials sampling
• Flavour monitoring
• Associated quality paperwork associated with a busy food manufacturing environment

Shifts

The role is based within a rolling shift pattern, so interested candidates will need to be happy working alternating 12hr night and day shifts, including weekends.

Contract and Salary

Starting initially on a temporary contract, candidates with immediate availability will be considered with priority and full training will be provided. Salary is circa £26,000 and overtime is available.
