Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Chippenham (rural site – own transport required)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to take the lead on our internal audit programme as we work towards achieving full BRCGS accreditation. This is a hands‑on role within our technical team, working closely with production and maintenance to ensure our site remains audit‑ready all year round.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver the internal audit schedule against BRCGS and customer standards.
  • Conduct GMP, hygiene, traceability, and document control audits across the site.
  • Prepare for and support external audits and customer visits.
  • Investigate non‑conformances, implement corrective actions, and track progress.
  • Maintain QA documentation, records, and procedures to ensure accuracy and usability.
About You:
  • Previous experience in QA or Technical roles within food manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of auditing processes, food safety, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with both people and paperwork.
  • Reliable transport to reach our rural site (including early starts).
