Job summary

Sunblink Ltd-GRN is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant in Lisburn to support food safety, legality and quality procedures across a temperature-controlled logistics operation. The role involves audits, traceability exercises and investigations into non-conformances, with a focus on maintaining the Quality Management System.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year in Food Safety/Quality/Technical, a degree in Food Science or related field and HACCP Level 2.

Qualifications

At least 1 year in Food Safety, Quality, Technical or a closely related role.
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
HACCP Level 2 qualification at minimum.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and documentation.
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

Support monitoring and verification of food safety, legality and quality procedures.
Conduct internal audits across the operation.
Assist with preparation for customer, regulatory and BRCGS audits and visits.
Perform product and operational traceability exercises.
Support investigations relating to customer queries, non-conformances and technical issues.
Maintain accurate records in line with the Quality Management System.
Assist with continuous improvement projects across the business.
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure consistent quality and food safety.
