Overview

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Officer looking for a new challenge or someone looking to progress their food manufacturing career in a new direction? As a QA with 2 Sisters Food Group, you will be tasked with ensuring compliance with food safety legislation, customer requirements and company policies. Reporting to the QA shift manager you will work in partnership with Operations to consistently deliver the highest quality, safety and value to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record production activities to ensure adherence to specification.
  • Verify and record process controls to ensure defined tolerances are followed and act when not.
  • Ensure that technical / QA information is observed, recorded and communicated effectively.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and confidence with respect to food safety.
  • Collection of samples and swabs.
  • GMP supervisory checks.
  • Ensure technical equipment is handled and used in an appropriate manner, including signing in and out toolboxes and equipment, daily verification against inventory list.

The Scunthorpe site is a whole bird processing site, we process everything, nothing goes to waste. We have a strong multicultural workforce; you'll hear many languages on a daily basis. But we work together, communication might not always be verbal, but we make it work as a team. The working environment is chilled and loud; we provide all necessary PPE but advise you wear layers to ensure you're comfortable.

Shift Pattern & Pay
  • WEEK 1 - Monday to Saturday; 06:00-14:30 (full week Gross £594.12)
  • WEEK 2 - Monday to Friday; 14:30-23:00 (full week Gross £479.13)

The rate of pay is £13.50 per hour (£16.20ph Sat). A competitive salary of £13.50, we also pride ourselves on developing staff potential, with many opportunities for in-house training along with externally supplied qualifications and support, to help drive your career forward.
