A leading occupational health organization in Leicester is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to oversee the assessment of training providers and courses. This role offers a hybrid working model, where you will be required to work on-site at least 2 days a week. Ideal candidates should possess relevant qualifications and have a passion for maintaining high standards in training delivery.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer (Verification and Assessment Officer)
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 pa (dependent on experience)
Hours per week: 35

You’ll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week. The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.
The successful applicant must have the pre-existing right to both live, and to work in the UK.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Officer. You will be responsible for assessment and quality assurance of our training providers, and the training they deliver, in accordance with established criteria and national standards.
Reporting to the Quality and Standards Business Partner, you will be assessing our IOSH direct delivery courses, undertaking specific quality checks, and providing constructive feedback, in the form of written reports, but on occasion, verbally to aid understanding.
This is a key role at IOSH and the opportunity to really shape the delivery of our services to our end users as well as enhancing and improving our Quality Framework.
We are looking for someone with attention to detail, a passion for ensuring standards are adhered to and who can work independently and as part of a team. The individual needs to be able to listen to others, support colleagues and customers to ensure we offer excellent customer service. The individual needs to be able to confidently give and receive feedback.
Candidates must hold either a Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment and/or Level 3 qualification in Education and Training or Equivalent.
